Greetings Packer Fans! It is time for the Green Bay Packers organization to terminate Ted Thompson . Mr. Thompson's ego has become larger than the team. The damage that this self-centered individual has caused to our team will be felt for decades into the future. The damage is already evident on the field.  Make no mistake, Ted Thompson has pushed our own, beloved Brett Favre out of Green Bay; the team, the fans, and the organization will never be the same.

To better understand the severity of this situation you need to recall the Packers Timeline over the past 35 years. After the Glory Days of Lombardi Era, the Green Bay Packers organization was a mess. The team finished with a losing record nearly every year. The Packers went through coaches and personnel as fast as water rushing down the mighty Mississippi River. The fans did not have a lot to cheer about. Despite the fact the Packers were considered a joke around the NFL our loyal Packer enthusiasts filled Lambeau Field to capacity, week after week, year after year.

In November of 1991 Ron Wolf was hired as the new GM of the Packers. Wolf hired coach Mike Holmgren in 1992. Wolf then traded the 19th pick in the NFL Draft for Brett Favre. Soon after Brett Favre took over as the starting QB and the Green Bay Packers were once again winners.

From that first magical season and for 15 seasons after that Brett Favre has given his heart and soul to the Green Bay Packers. No matter how battered or torn he was, he reached deep inside of himself and always gave the Packers 110%. His inspired play lifted the Packers once again to elite status in the NFL. No longer were the Packers an after thought. Green Bay Packers were once a team where NFL players dreaded  and free agents steered clear from. Who wanted to go where it was cold and where the team was a joke?  Brett Favre turned around those thoughts and players looked forward to an oppurtunity to play for the Packers. The national spotlight was often turned towards Green Bay. Fans around the country and around the world had a better understanding of just how great Green Bay Packer fans are. People who suffered for years but remained loyal were once again proud.

Brett was part of the community. The fans shared in his up and downs and the ups and downs of his family. He always has been and still is one of us. Brett's loyalty to the Packers was never in doubt. His first choice was to return to the Packers so he could lead the team to another championship. He clearly was still one of the top 6 or 7 QB's in the league. Everyone knew the best chance for the Packers to win was with Brett Favre.

Ted Thompson publically urged Brett to stay retired. Why would did he do that? Simple...... Ted Thompsons ego. Ted Thompson believes this is his team. He wants to prove to the world that his team, with his players, can become a championship contender. He did not want to share the spotlight with Brett Favre. He also did not like how Brett had urged the team to team to keep our offensive line intact or when Brett voiced his support for the team trading a 4th round pick for Randy Moss. Ted Thompson did the direct opposite and ultimately looked like a fool publically. He was outraged that a veteran of 16 years would voice his opinion. Ted ultimately pushed Brett out the door in a very disgraceful manner and the rest is history.
